From March 31, 2026, three monumental sculptures by Gianmaria Potenza are part of the visitor route at Ca’ Pesaro – International Gallery of Modern Art in Venice, offering a preview of the major monographic exhibition Gianmaria Potenza. Io, Venezia, curated by Elisabetta Barisoni and Valeria Loddo. The exhibition will be on view from October 3 to November 22, 2026.

The installation also marks the launch of the Fondazione Potenza Tamini’s 2026 program, which celebrates the artist’s 90th birthday. This initiative honours Potenza’s long and innovative career, as well as his profound and enduring connection to Venice, an endless source of inspiration for his work.

The 2026 program will feature a variety of interdisciplinary initiatives aimed at a wide audience. These will include talks, educational activities, and the Progetto Giovani Talenti 2026. This year’s edition will present original works of poetry and dance/body expression that are inspired by the artist’s work and the themes of the upcoming exhibition at Ca’ Pesaro.
