The Fondazione Potenza Tamini is a new Venetian institution dedicated to the art of Gianmaria Potenza and his wealth of knowledge and techniques, serving as a contemporary testament to Venetian artistic tradition.
Founded through the support and determination of collector Josie Mackwitz Tamini, the Fondazione Potenza Tamini stands as a guardian of Gianmaria Potenza’s significant artistic legacy. It also explores contemporary cultural vibrancy by supporting young creative talents who investigate the present in an artistic exploration akin to the themes addressed by Potenza.

The Foundation is located in the historic studio of artist Gianmaria Potenza at 1450 Dorsoduro, in the vibrant heart of Venice’s creativity, sensibility, and culture. Here, Potenza continues to create astonishing works, masterfully reinterpreting a deeply Venetian artistic narrative in an unexpected dialogue between past and present.
