The Potenza Tamini Foundation presents a new project dedicated to high schools in Venice, aimed at engaging younger generations in hands-on experiences with art and creative expression. The first edition involves the Parentale Fenice Institute, with students aged 14 to 18 taking part in a three-session workshop: the first held on October 28, with the next two scheduled for November 14 and 28.

A project for the city and its youth
This program is part of the Foundation’s mission to support young people and promote Venice’s artistic heritage. By collaborating with local schools, the Foundation strengthens its connection with the city, encouraging initiatives that bring students closer to artistic practices and creative processes.

A living space for work and exploration
The activities take place inside the Gianmaria Potenza Studio, home of the Foundation and an active site of artistic production. Welcoming students into the Studio highlights its ongoing vitality—an environment open to learning, experimentation, and dialogue with new generations.

Experimenting with techniques and materials
Guided by the Artist and his long-time assistant Angelo Tassan, the students engage as active participants, experimenting directly with some of the techniques and materials used in the Studio: from glass engraving to pyrography on polystyrene and wood, from mosaic work to wood crafting.
The project is designed to encourage manual skill, observation, imagination, and the ability to develop and communicate creative ideas.
